Medicare is accepted for eligible clients age 65 and older. Otherwise, SpeechbyCC is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) upon request, which you may submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
SpeechbyCC focuses on older teens (14+), adults, and older adults. Pediatric cases are handled on a case-by-case basis—I'm happy to provide referrals to pediatric-focused SLPs if needed.
You're welcome to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs. This is a great way to learn more, ask questions, and see if I'm a good match before committing to a full session.
SpeechbyCC services are only available to clients who are physically located in Massachusetts at the time of each session. Catherine Christianson, M.S., CCC-SLP is licensed to practice in Massachusetts (License #SLP100914) and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
I cannot serve clients located outside of Massachusetts—even temporarily—unless explicitly licensed in that state.
All services are delivered using secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of your sessions and information. Any shared documents, assessments, or personal information are handled with professional care.
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged a small fee, except in cases of emergency.
I will always do my best to accommodate schedule changes when possible.
Invoices are sent immediately based on sessions. Payment is due upon receipt via the payment methods listed in your invoice.
Clients are expected to be present, engaged, and in a distraction-free environment during their sessions. If technical difficulties occur, I will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or complete the session within the scheduled time.
